Overview
The d83 is Ascom's premium, ruggedized DECT phone for lone workers and staff in physically demanding or hazardous settings — hospitals, chemical/petrochemical plants, mines, mills, manufacturing, large retail/office complexes. Beyond durability, its defining trait is built-in safety alerting (panic button, fall/no-movement detection) tied to location tracking.
